Subli Glaze  is a specially formulated DIY aerosol (spray) sublimation coating designed to allow for the decoration by sublimation transfer of a wide range of hard surfaces. A product which has no sublimation coating cannot be sublimated unless a sublimation coating is applied. This is that coating.

• Items you can decorate – Glass, metal, plastics and almost any non-porous item that can handle heat transfer times and temperatures from a sublimation oven/ heat press.
• Subli Glaze Adhesion Promoter must also be used on non-porous items. This will improve the bond of the coating onto the shiny surface.
• Porous substrates like uncoated wood, board and so on don’t require the adhesion promoter

DIY Steps:

1. If the item needs adhesion promoter, rub it on with a soft cloth and let it dry. Follow the instruction on the bottle of adhesion promoter.
2. Spray the surface of the item with Subli Glaze clear coating. Take care to follow the instructions on the can. For best results work in a dust free environment
3. Let the item air-dry for 10 minutes. If the weather is cold and damp it make take longer
4. Cure it in an oven at 160C for 15 minutes
5. Once cured, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
6. Once cooled you can press your sublimation print as you would on a sublimation coated product
