Description
Subli Glaze is a specially formulated DIY aerosol (spray) sublimation coating designed to allow for the decoration by sublimation transfer of a wide range of hard surfaces. A product which has no sublimation coating cannot be sublimated unless a sublimation coating is applied. This is that coating.
- Contents 400ml of coating
- Qty: 1
- Manufactured in the United Kingdom (UK)
- Aerosol spray can – Very easy to apply. No mess no fuss
- Items you can decorate – Glass, metal, plastics and almost any non-porous item that can handle heat transfer times and temperatures from a sublimation oven/ heat press.
- Subli Glaze Adhesion Promoter must also be used on non-porous items. This will improve the bond of the coating onto the shiny surface.
- Porous substrates like uncoated wood, board and so on don’t require the adhesion promoter
DIY Steps:
- If the item needs adhesion promoter, rub it on with a soft cloth and let it dry. Follow the instruction on the bottle of adhesion promoter.
- Spray the surface of the item with Subli Glaze clear coating. Take care to follow the instructions on the can. For best results work in a dust free environment
- Let the item air-dry for 10 minutes. If the weather is cold and damp it make take longer
- Cure it in an oven at 160C for 15 minutes
- Once cured, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
- Once cooled you can press your sublimation print as you would on a sublimation coated product
